​True Ananda is a holistic wellbeing centre that empowers you to heal from within and reconnect with your natural state of joy. Rooted in the belief that true happiness comes from balance, we offer a variety of approaches that blend the timeless wisdom of Ayurveda with modern techniques such as Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) to support your wellbeing in ways that are natural, preventative, and manageable in daily life.
Ayurveda, which means “the science of life,” is an ancient system of health and wellness from India that focuses on keeping your body, mind, and spirit in harmony. Rather than simply treating symptoms, Ayurveda looks at the whole person, supporting natural health and vitality. It teaches that everyone has a unique body type, called a dosha (functional principle that describes how your mind and body work together), and that true well-being comes from eating, moving, and living in ways that align with your natural balance.

Meet Ekta
Founder|Holistic Wellness Practitoner| Coach | Community Advocate

At the heart of True Ananda is Ekta Bhasin — a holistic wellbeing practitioner who believes that true healing comes from within. Raised in a culture where natural healing, mindfulness, and spiritual connection were part of daily life, Ekta brings a unique, compassionate, and intuitive approach to helping others reconnect with their health, purpose, and joy.​Her journey wasn’t a straight path.
Before dedicating herself to holistic health, Ekta spent over 20 years in senior leadership roles within the UK’s corporate retail sector. She successfully led multi-million-pound change programmes, launched international initiatives, and guided diverse teams across cultures. During this time, she discovered the growing need for balance, alignment, and authentic wellbeing — not only in businesses, but in individuals too.​ This dual perspective — structured business strategy combined with soulful healing — shapes Ekta’s unique approach today.
She has trained extensively in holistic and natural health therapies, holding multiple qualifications, including:

​What sets Ekta apart is how she gently weaves these practices together; East meets West, science meets soul — to help people build a more sustainable and intuitive approach to their health, and ultimately to her mantra of "heal yourself to happiness".​​
Alongside her professional practice, Ekta is married with two children and understands firsthand the importance of balance between home life, work, and study. She continues to expand her knowledge through ongoing learning, while also giving back through community roles — including serving as a parish council member, school governor, volunteering in community clinics, and teaching at an Ayurvedic college. Her dedication to both family and community reflects her belief that true wellbeing grows from connection, service, and balance in everyday life.
